Zoey and Russell Bigg had a truly unique wedding at Cantley House Hotel in Wokingham. Their country themed wedding featured bunting and gingham, throwing horse shoes and old fashioned sweets. The theme continued into the wedding party’s dress code the girls in gingham country dresses, the boys in matching gingham ties and converse sneakers. Absolute cool country chic. I loved it! As for the bride….wow, Zoey looked STUNNING! So glamourous and after a fairly nervous start at the engagement shoot Zoey came out of her shell on her wedding day and her confident, feminine side shone through. What a great wedding, everyone was so fun and laughter filled the small marquee in the hotel grounds. Wow this month has been so busy with head shots. My latest shoot was with a very talented hair stylist who’s styles will be trend setting and her name will soon be BIG I’m sure. Steph works for Finn Hair in Lower Earley and with the help of her supportive boss Laura they are pushing Steph’s talents entering the Wella competition and beyond. Watch out for Laura, Steph and their team, they will be changing hair as we know it, from an everyday cut to bridal and glamorous hair dos. Visit them in the salon where they will pamper you and make you look your absolute best for any occasion. I can’t wait to work with them for their up and coming Wella competition. Good Luck girls!

Wow, the past few months have been so busy with family portraits, baby photography, boudoir photography and of course wedding photography. I think you can tell the sign of a busy photographer…when they are terrible at blogging. I promise to post some blogs today and more often (she says). Well let’s see how it goes. I’m loving being busy with work I really enjoy. Keep it coming, I’m having so much fun and meeting wonderful people 🙂

Gemma and James got married on a glorious afternoon in May. The Ceremony took place at St Nicholas Church in Bookham and the reception was at the magnificent Hartsfield Manor in Betchworth, Surrey. Their love for one another was clear from the outset. Gemma and James were truly one of the most romantic couples I have ever met. Their tenderness and passion shows in every photo through the longing glances towards one another and the way they curl up perfectly in each others arms. The attention to detail at this wedding was stunning from the flowers and chair covers to the table plan and cake. Hartsfield really put their all into laying out and pulling together all their ideas to create one of the most beautiful reception rooms I have ever seen both I and the bride and groom were swept away when we entered the room as you can see from the expression on Gemma’s face. E was due to get married on the 12th May and wanted to give her husband to be a little sneak preview of what he could expect on their wedding night. E arrived with the most beautiful garments, from luxurious pieces of underwear to cascading necklaces. One of my more daring clients E soon was in little more then the necklace. On a beautiful sunny day in March….(yes March!) Andy married the beautiful dancer Alex. Their ceremony was held at the very grand Douai Abbey it was a very peaceful and elegant service, but you wouldn’t expect anything else from a place as stunning as this. Warbrook house provided the perfect place to continue their fairytale wedding with a moat extending out into a lake for a dramatic view back to the house. It is no wonder they chose Shakespear as their theme for their wedding. Its on days like this that I fully appreciate how lucky I am to be a wedding photographer in Berkshire, what a beautiful place to be.

I have the great pleasure of photographing Kat and Mark’s Wedding in July at Easthampstead Park. What a stunning venue. On the morning of her hen night L came to the studio all the way from Southampton to have her bridal boudoir photographs. L brought all her wedding day accessories and some sexy garments. Last week L gave these cheeky photos to her husband the morning of their wedding in a gorgeous boudoir box. Well done L and what a great start to married life.

Today I photographed Steen Young a stunt man who has featured in Batman Begins, X-men – First Class and Kick Ass to name but a few of his amazing acheivements. On a cold March afternoon I met my lovely bride and groom to be Gemma and James at Virginia water for their engagement portrait. I have the great pleasure of photographing their wedding at Hartsfield Manor, Betchworth, Surrey and St Nicholas’ Church, Bookham later this year.
