How long will The photoshoot take?
Portrait sessions typically last between 1-1.5 hours. It depends on how many people are in the session. Young children tend to tired more quickly where as Teenages take longer to warm up into the shoot.
Boudoir sessions are up to 3 hours long.You will be spending an hour having a makeover and depending on how confident you are the shoot can last between 1.5-2 hours
I’d recommend allowing 4-5 hours for newborn sessions. I only book one shoot a day and there is never any rush. I always want my clients to feel comfortable and relaxed during any shoot, but even more so with a newborn. How long will it be until I get my photos?
You will be able to see your photographs at your “viewing”. This is a session where we sit down, enjoy a cuppa and a biscuit and look through the photographs together. For most portrait clients this happens about a week after your photoshoot and for wedding clients 3-4 weeks.
For portrait clients it is at this stage that you will choose your favourites and decide how you would like them presented and what to purchase. I’d allow up to two hours to choose your photos. I want you to leave feeling you have exactly what you want.
Most orders are available for collection two weeks after the viewing with the exception of albums and some other more unique products, with special requests.
