Laura came to the studio in Eversley near Wokingham to have some boudoir photographs taken for her husband to be. The gift will be given to her at their Hawaii wedding in January and I can’t wait to hear how the surprise went. Laura, is a beautiful and lovely client to work with. She was so gentle in her approach to the shoot. Not a word often used in association with boudoir photography, but she was so natural and I felt more like I was watching a beautiful woman relaxing in her bedroom rather then on the set of a photo shoot. Laura opted for two looks and the talented Melissa Morris from Melissa Clare Makeup stayed for the whole shoot to ensure the hair and makeup was perfect throughout. Melissa and I have a great working partnership and together we put the client at ease, but more then that, make them feel special, unique, feminine, confident. I was thrilled when Lisa and Colin came back to me for their pregnancy photographs. Being a baby photographer is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. Even more so when a previous client has returned to me. I photographed Lisa and Colin’s wedding at Warbrook House and it is such a privilege to asked to be their bump to baby photographer too.   There are some clients I work with who stay with you forever. Lisa and Colin are two of those, whose photoshoots stay with me and are as much as part of my happy memories as I am capturing theirs. Lisa and I now share a special bond, a lovely cherished moment in time that has coincided with one another. We are both expecting our first child. Both are girls and are due just weeks apart. It’s been lovely to share this moment with one of my clients and to bond with her as a friend and fellow mother to be. The Incredible Alex Jade…what a voice! Singer song writer Alex Jade Came to the studio to get some promotional photographs for her music career. She had a makeover shoot with myself and the very talented Melissa Clare Makeup. We created several looks for Alex to suite reflect her music style and lyrics. Alex found a makeover photoshoot in Wokingham the perfect location for her as she is based in Reading Berkshire. This beautiful princess came into the studio for her final Bump to Baby Club Photography session. Andrea and Chris have been clients of mine since 2007 and it was wonderful that when they had Scarlett they joined the Bump to Baby Club for Scarlett’s baby photography. Scarlett is such a happy little girl. She laughed and smiled throughout the photo shoot. These are one of my most cherished clients as they were one of my first. I set up the studio in 2007 and although I had been a photographer for 5 years before this, they were one of my first to come to MY studio and I am still honoured! 8 years later and it is still an absolute privilege to be a part of their lives and be their family photographer. I had a wonderful afternoon with these beauties in the bluebell woods. Suzie and Mark are previous clients of mine as I photographed their wedding two years ago. They came back to me after the birth of their second daughter Erin for some family photos. We decided to take their family portrait sitting on location to a bluebell wood behind the studio in Eversley near Finchampstead. Freya had a wonderful time cuddling her little sister and even their dogs got in on the action once we came back to the studio. It was so lovely catching up with Suzie and her family again. It’s lovely being a family’s regular photographer and watching the children grow. Freya was so comfortable with me, holding my hand throughout the shoot and sitting on my lap for most of the viewing. I think as this was the second time she had been photographed by me she felt very comfortable with me and Erin was the same. I loved working with this cute little family and hope to continue to follow their progress and photograph them again as the years roll on.

Daisy came to the studio last week for a portrait session and neither myself or her mum expected this quiet little girl of 8 to be as confident as she was. Daisy breezed through the photoshoot with the ease of an experienced model. The fun, natural posing and professionalism in her photographs shows talent and the manner in which she carried herself during the photoshoot with a polite and responsive nature made her a joy to work with.   After some deliberation we managed to narrow down the 130 beautiful photographs to our favourite 12 (a difficult task as daisy had created so many picture perfect photographs in just a 1 hours photo session). These will be presented as a model portfolio to showcase Daisy’s talent to model agencies.   I think you’ll agree that Daisy has the makings of a professional child model and is a stunning little girl.
