Wedding Photographer Whiltshire

I was honoured when Jo and Sam asked me to be their wedding photographer for their wedding and the beautiful Wellington Barn in Calne, Wiltshire. Jo and Sam’s wedding was a stunning country themed wedding with elegant bunting and dainty meadow flowers. The colour scheme was an unusual yellow, pink and orange, but the striking colours against the soft hay meadow and husky wooden barn worked a dream, but don’t take my word for it the photos speak for themselves. It was a joy to photographer every wedding photographers dream.

Wedding Photographer Hartsfield Manor

I went to Betchworth to photograph Anne Marie and Chris’ Wedding where I am recommened Photographer for Hartsfield Manor. Anne Marie and the brides made were all in the Betchworth Suite when I arrived and the room was filled with laughter and beautiful gowns hanging from every available door. Chris and the ushers were very still and calm, the strolled around the grounds which was in full sunshine for this cold October morning. The ceremony room was a picture, filled with autumn leaves and glorious red bows on the backs of the chairs. Between the Autumn showers we ventured outside to capture the glowing red and gold autumn leaves in their photographs which compliment the warm glow of their candle lit photographs on the grand staircase. I have never met a more welcoming group of people. It’s easy to see why this couple fell in love, they are both kind and calming personalities and bother families, fun, walm and inviting. I felt so full of joy to be participating in their wedding celebrations. To see more of Anne Marie’s and Chris’ wedding photographs please visit my facebook page.

Makeover Photoshoot When Tosin walked into the photography studio for her portrait photography sitting Laura and I looked at each other and our jaws dropped. With no makeup on Tosin was absolutely stunning! Amazing smile and eyes and lovely long legs she could be a model. After a session in hair and makeup with Laura Tosin was ready for her makeover photography session. She was fantastic! I think the photos speak volumes. Confident and sophisticated. An absolute pleasure for me as the photographer what a makeover shoot.

Actors Headshots Reading
November 10, 2012 by Mel Webb in 0 Comments

A lovely couple came into my photography studio in Berkshire for some actors head shots. Now retired Lesley and Barry are looking to try something new. They were inspired when Lesley helped out as a volunteer at the 2012 Olympics. They met lots of new people and this opened many doors for them. So they are dabbling in a little extra’s acting. They are such wonderful, fun and kind people I’m sure appearance, character and personality will appeal to many a director. I am so privileged to be photographer for so many head shots in Berkshire and Oxfordshire for such a variation in talents from novelists and actors (including stuntmen) to rising stars in the hair industry and dancers. I love my job. Getting professional corporate headshots photographs can really make a difference to employees of any business. It is also important to have really good CV headshots to show off your personable friendly appearance before you even get to the interview process. Contact me for details on prices and to find out what’s involved. A sweet message from Barry: “Hello Melanie, Thank you so much for these lovely images. We really appreciated the skills you and Laura showed. You both exuded true professionalism.”

Christmas photoshoot Reading
November 10, 2012 by Mel Webb in 0 Comments

Max (age 2) and his new puppy Bella came bouncing into the studio on a crisp October morning for their Christmas photographs. I always love to do pet portraits even though they can sometimes be a real challenge. It was lovely to be the first to Bella’s first portrait photographer as she was only 10 weeks old. Lucy wanted some natural photographs of her two little stars for her family. What a great Christmas present idea and they also make amazing photography Christmas cards with a real personal touch.  So the tree and the fake snow came out of the cupboards still in October (which was a strange, but amazing feeling). We got some lovely Christmas family photographs together. I’m so pleased Lucy chose me to take Max’s photos. I met Lucy through Max’s Nursery the amazing Denning Montessori in Fawley, Henley on Thames, where I photograph the children for their school portraits. It’s a wonderful nursery where the children are supportive of one another and allowed to be independent and their development and creativity supported and nurtured by the wonderful staff there. Through this nursery I have met and taken photographs for some lovely Henley parents and children. Here […]

Boudoir Photography Berkshire
November 2, 2012 by Mel Webb in 0 Comments

Hannah was given a boudoir photography package with One Life Studio Reading for her Birthday. My photoshoot pakages which are boudoir photography gifts are becoming increasingly popular. She arrived not knowing what to expect, yet full of smiles. After being pampered and having her hair and makeup expertly carried out by Laura from Starlites makeup Hannah was ready to de-robe. Photographing Hannah for her Birthday Boudoir Shoot was great fun and I think we got some amazing boudoir photographs. She really is a stunning girl and for a woman who hardly wears makeup and never wears heels she was amazing and threw herself into it completely. She transforms from friendly and smiling young woman to saucy and provocative vixen. Well done Hannah and thanks for my lovely email… “Hi Mel, Just wanted to thank you sooooo much for the pictures, they arrived a couple of days ago, and I am absolutely over-the-moon with them!! All my family and friends that have seen them think they are great too, and I’m just thrilled that I had the opportunity to do that shoot. Please can you give Laura a huge thank you from me too, for the amazing make-up, and give yourself a massive pat on […]

Wedding Photographer Henley

Emily and Marcus’ Wedding at Henley Business School, St Mary’s Church Henley on Thames and Stonor Park I was so pleased to be able to photograph Emily and Marcus’ wedding and after a very….VERY wet pre-wedding meeting at Stonor just days before the wedding, I was keeping everything crossed for good weather on their wedding day. You know what they say bad rehearsal good performance. Well someone was looking down on this beautiful couple thinking they need beautiful weather because it was perfect for their wedding photography. I arrived at Henley Business School to find a welcoming family, glorious sunshine and men in uniform. What more could a girl want….oooh lunch, that was supplied too (I really am in good company) After some laughter and friendly banter with the boys I made my way over to Emily’s parents house to take some preparation photo’s of the bride and family. There was stillness and calm throughout the house. The family (and wedding videographers) were gathered around the kitchen table tucking into a wonderful lunch of freshly prepared goodies. They all squeezed over to make room for me and I attempted to finish the plate of delicious quiche and salad presented to […]

Wedding Photographer for Easthampstead Park
August 10, 2012 by Mel Webb in 0 Comments

Natalie and Luke’s Wedding Parish Church of St John the Baptist and Easthampstead Park Natalie’s parents home was buzzing with laughter, smelling of fresh cut flowers as her mother busied herself making the most beautiful button holes. There were endless opportunities for really fun reportage style pre-wedding photographs. The girls were all relaxing in the conservatory and we all kept our fingers crossed that the rain would hold off as Natalie’s dad had spent time making sure the garden was beautiful for some photographs. Unfortunately our wishes weren’t heard and the awful spray continued, but the house was beautiful each bedroom an elegant sanctuary so Natalie had a lovely backdrop for her pre ceremony photographs. The same unfortunately couldn’t be said for poor Luke who had to endure the rain outside the church. The rain had eased off by the afternoon and the happy couple could enjoy some time together walking around the grounds at Easthampstead park. This is one of my favourite times as a wedding photographer. Its just the newly married couple and me getting some once in a lifetime wedding photographs. Civil Partnership Hartsfield Manor
August 6, 2012 by Mel Webb in 0 Comments

Let’s Here It for the Boys! My first experience as a civil partnership photographer was fantastic. Benn and Nicholas had the most elegant ceremony at Hartsfield Manor back in June. It was so much fun as being a wedding photographer Surrey always is. The wedding photographs at Hartsfield Manor came out brilliantly and were a joy to edit. Jubilee weddings called for Jubilee space hoppers and everyone was in high spirits and full of banter. As I know from shooting at my photography studio in Caversham, Reading great props make for great photographs and you can’t really get better than space hoppers to create a fun and lively photoshoot. Probably the best wedding reading a wedding photographer has ever heard!!! If anyone filmed it please put it on youtube. I had a great time with this lovely and fun couple so much so I actually lost my voice….completely… for those who know me, this is unheard of. lol

Must Blog!
August 5, 2012 by Mel Webb in 0 Comments

Wow was the last time I spoke to you all really back in June! It feels like yesterday. I have had the best couple of months just being a photographer. I’ve seem to be a wedding photographer Reading, a wedding photographer Surrey and a wedding photographer Oxfordshire all in one. It really is time to take on another photographer. It seems to be a popular time of year for baby photography and  boudoir photography as well. I suppose they go hand in hand and one generally follows on from the other. So I sometimes see clients from boudoir to wedding to baby. Funny how life works. I’ve been in my photography studio constantly over the last few weeks and I will try to share some of my exciting shoots with you tonight between editing wedding photographs, but I really have had the best few months despite the weather and have been so lucky to work with such lovely people. Watch this space new blogs coming soon….
