Emily and Marcus’ Wedding at Henley Business School, St Mary’s Church Henley on Thames and Stonor Park I was so pleased to be able to photograph Emily and Marcus’ wedding and after a very….VERY wet pre-wedding meeting at Stonor just days before the wedding, I was keeping everything crossed for good weather on their wedding day. You know what they say bad rehearsal good performance. Well someone was looking down on this beautiful couple thinking they need beautiful weather because it was perfect for their wedding photography. I arrived at Henley Business School to find a welcoming family, glorious sunshine and men in uniform. What more could a girl want….oooh lunch, that was supplied too (I really am in good company) After some laughter and friendly banter with the boys I made my way over to Emily’s parents house to take some preparation photo’s of the bride and family. There was stillness and calm throughout the house. The family (and wedding videographers) were gathered around the kitchen table tucking into a wonderful lunch of freshly prepared goodies. They all squeezed over to make room for me and I attempted to finish the plate of delicious quiche and salad presented to […]

Wedding Photographer for Easthampstead Park

Natalie and Luke’s Wedding Parish Church of St John the Baptist and Easthampstead Park Natalie’s parents home was buzzing with laughter, smelling of fresh cut flowers as her mother busied herself making the most beautiful button holes. There were endless opportunities for really fun reportage style pre-wedding photographs. The girls were all relaxing in the conservatory and we all kept our fingers crossed that the rain would hold off as Natalie’s dad had spent time making sure the garden was beautiful for some photographs. Unfortunately our wishes weren’t heard and the awful spray continued, but the house was beautiful each bedroom an elegant sanctuary so Natalie had a lovely backdrop for her pre ceremony photographs. The same unfortunately couldn’t be said for poor Luke who had to endure the rain outside the church. The rain had eased off by the afternoon and the happy couple could enjoy some time together walking around the grounds at Easthampstead park. This is one of my favourite times as a wedding photographer. Its just the newly married couple and me getting some once in a lifetime wedding photographs. Civil Partnership Hartsfield Manor
August 6, 2012 by Mel Webb in 0 Comments

Let’s Here It for the Boys! My first experience as a civil partnership photographer was fantastic. Benn and Nicholas had the most elegant ceremony at Hartsfield Manor back in June. It was so much fun as being a wedding photographer Surrey always is. The wedding photographs at Hartsfield Manor came out brilliantly and were a joy to edit. Jubilee weddings called for Jubilee space hoppers and everyone was in high spirits and full of banter. As I know from shooting at my photography studio in Caversham, Reading great props make for great photographs and you can’t really get better than space hoppers to create a fun and lively photoshoot. Probably the best wedding reading a wedding photographer has ever heard!!! If anyone filmed it please put it on youtube. I had a great time with this lovely and fun couple so much so I actually lost my voice….completely… for those who know me, this is unheard of. lol

Must Blog!
August 5, 2012 by Mel Webb in 0 Comments

Wow was the last time I spoke to you all really back in June! It feels like yesterday. I have had the best couple of months just being a photographer. I’ve seem to be a wedding photographer Reading, a wedding photographer Surrey and a wedding photographer Oxfordshire all in one. It really is time to take on another photographer. It seems to be a popular time of year for baby photography and  boudoir photography as well. I suppose they go hand in hand and one generally follows on from the other. So I sometimes see clients from boudoir to wedding to baby. Funny how life works. I’ve been in my photography studio constantly over the last few weeks and I will try to share some of my exciting shoots with you tonight between editing wedding photographs, but I really have had the best few months despite the weather and have been so lucky to work with such lovely people. Watch this space new blogs coming soon….
